In 2009, there were close individuals who knew about this concept and could provide testimony tomorrow. Kabelo Smartpeeps, known as “the buyer of the drinks,” formed friendships with them. He did not pressure them to buy drinks, as they were working in a kitchen under a tender and were underpaid. They often shared their problems with him, which needed to be addressed with the hospital manager.
Just imagine those drunkards from 2007 to 2009, walking around the streets of Diepkloof, Zone 6, Soweto. They are the first group of people to share with the world a concept that could potentially prevent obesity for the last time in science.

This story book narrates the life of Kabelo Smartpeeps, a Dietetics university graduate from 2005, who studied at what was formerly known as MEDUNSA and is now Sefako Mokgato University in South Africa. He grew up in a vanadium-rich village called Rankotea, near Mothutlong in Brits, North West South Africa.
Kabelo began his career as a junior dietitian at Klerksdorp Tshepong Hospital and later moved to Soweto City in 2006, the home of Smartpeeps' wildest dreams. This is a story about what science will never forget about this retired dietitian.

Mr Sifiso "Khandaliyachisa" Maseko ", Papi, Mpho "Gothata Banna" Tau, Kenny and thokzen "The meerkat" for showing so much support in the initial phase of smartpeeps project 2009 at Soweto city. By look of things they did not clearly understood what was kabelo talking about or tying to say but whether sober or drunk they kept listening to him. We call them * The Smartpeeps disciples* 1st group of people in history to know more about this crazy beautiful project.
Project Money
Dankie and thank you Gosiame Mmoledi, who is an aunt to Lihle, last born child of Lydia Mmoledi and little sister to kabelo smartpeeps, thabo, lesego, Neo, BK and kego . She was very young but had more interests to know about Smartpeeps. She made history by becoming the only person in 15 years who gave smartpeeps project money to pay bills while Kabelo was still in a process of losing half a million to build this huge clinical project offering just R100, imagine.

Made in Soweto City in 2009, this is the story of Kabelo, a university graduate with a degree in dietetics who was working at a private hospital in Lenasia (Johannesburg South). Despite struggling with alcohol consumption, Kabelo had a vision of developing a diet program that utilized mind games as a concept. Unfortunately, this innovative idea was met with skepticism and became a laughing stock among a few of his clients at that time.

The appointment call
It was on a Friday afternoon when Kabelo received a call from the place where he was practicing part-time, informing him that there were clients scheduled to see a dietician for weight loss the following day. During that era, alcohol was as essential to Kabelo as water, and Fridays felt like a New Year’s Eve festival in Diepkloof, Zone 6, right next to the bara.
The consultation day
Saturday arrived, and Kabelo was struggling with a massive hangover while having an appointment to fulfill. As he entered the consultation rooms, he was surprised to find two beautiful Indian ladies waiting for a dietician, eager to explore something new. Despite his limited English presentation skills, he explained that the system involved clients playing mind games to develop their meal plans. During the consultation, Kabelo saw the two beautiful ladies laughing and not completing the session, even throwing his program files back at him. He felt deeply hurt and cried after that difficult consultation.
Telling a friend about what happened
Seeking comfort, he called a friend to meet for drinks and quickly got drunk. In his inebriated state, he told his friend, “The program that people laugh at will one day lead to something very significant in science on a global scale.”
This is the most memorable picture from that afternoon back in 2009, captured unknowingly by Thapelo Motsepe, one of Kabelo’s friends. On that day, the author was very angry as he recounted to Sifiso Maseko what had happened.
